A Dream of Day Lilys
Orangef Day Lily layered with cedar bark and lavender stems.
Red Rose Composite
I love the water droplets after the morning watering the garden. Textures of Lavender and wood grain.
Rose Scarab Mandala
Rose mandala. Do you see the Scarab? The Scarab beetle is a sacred symbol from ancient Egypt, meaning regeneration, or new life from decay. I wasn't looking for this, it found me!
Red Rose on Ferns
This spring I found a perfectly symmetrical fern on our morning walk. As you may noticed, I have used the fern image in several of these composites.
Roses and Lavender stems
I tried to convey a sweeping movement.
Fuzzy Logic
The shallow depth of field blurred these orange flowers, which are over layered with texture from shrubbery.
Orange extravaganza
I painted orange and blue colors over the clusters of needles to match the colors of the flowers. I am still not sure what the name of these flowers is.
Orange dahlias from my garden.
Orange Dahlias #3
Orange dahlias #3. From my garden. Painted layers of shrubbery needles and wood grain. Maybe my favorite.
Yellow 3#
I stretched the petals with the smudge tool, and pasted over the original flower, to create a doublet image.
Summer mood. Hot yellow. Its going to be 100 deg in Oregon this weekend. Not good for wild fires.
A New Leaf
Orange is the new Pink. I sent this one to IPC last pm. I should know better.
